Interactive maps

Ustowy uses Leaflet to display interactive maps and currently loads map tiles from OpenStreetMap. Loading a map can send technical request information to OpenStreetMap tile infrastructure. See OpenStreetMap Foundation’s privacy policy ↗.

Referral-click measurement

When you click a tracked “Book direct” link, Ustowy may record the storage operator key, area, source page and click time. This is used to understand which locations generate outbound demand. The current referral event does not include your email address or an Ustowy user account.

Coverage waitlist

If you explicitly ask to be notified when an area is covered, Ustowy can store the email address you submit, the requested area and the signup date. That information is used for the requested coverage notification rather than as a general marketing subscription.

Hosting and technical request data

Ustowy is designed for Cloudflare hosting. Cloudflare may process technical request and security information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, requested URL, time and browser or network information.

If Cloudflare D1 is configured, the waitlist and referral events described above can be written to that database.

Cookies and analytics

This build does not intentionally set optional advertising or behavioral-analytics cookies. If Ustowy later adds analytics or another service that requires additional consent or disclosure, this policy and the site controls should be updated before that feature is enabled.

For a request concerning personal information you submitted to Ustowy, including access, correction or deletion where applicable, contact [email protected].

A fixed application-level retention period is not yet configured in this MVP. Data-retention rules should be defined before the site begins collecting meaningful volumes of waitlist or referral data.
